James Hartsfield has accrued over 15 years of experience in the Risk Management and Insurance vertical since he was initially licensed as an Adjuster with Crawford & Company.
Over his career he has held various positions in sales and sales leadership with organizations whose primary functions vary from the application of human capital and third-party administration services to the introduction of data and consulting thought leadership into our community. Throughout his journey, he has championed and supported DEI initiatives from developing partnerships with MBE/WBE entities in the provision of BPO services through the mentorship and instruction of underrepresented minorities towards garnering state licensure as sales representatives.
He is presently the Sales Director of Insurance for the Americas for the IT Consulting firm Luxoft, a DXC Technology Company.

Joi Blume is a skilled commercial insurance professional who has worked in the insurance industry for over 10 years and has a superior understanding of the Excess and Surplus lines marketplace. Joi is currently AVP-Underwriter at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions f/k/a OneBeacon Insurance Group where she participates on large comprehensive specialty property placements.
She holds a B.A. in Communications and an MBA; and is a licensed Property and Casualty agent for the State of Georgia. Joi has been recognized by Insurance Business America as an insurance “Young Gun” and was recently named in The Alabama State University 2020 Class of 50 Under 50. She is passionate about D,E&I and women succeeding in male-dominated industries. Blume joined the Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP) in 2019 and previously served as Co-Chair of Program Development.

Kimberly A. Burnside (Kim) has had a distinguished career in the insurance industry holding leadership jobs at notable companies such as Liberty Mutual and FCCI. As her career developed, Kim embraced her passion to help others develop their paths within the industry through the lens of diversity and inclusion.
Presently, Kim holds the role of Zonal Manager, Corporate Accounts Southeast with AIG. In this role, she continues to work with underwriters and brokers, focused on building a team that delivers solutions. Kim is a native of the Bronx, but she makes Atlanta her home. She enjoys photography, baseball, family, and travel.

Camille Douglas graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, in 2016 with a bachelor's in Business Marketing. While career searching during her senior year, she was approached about a job in commercial property underwriting. She, much like many people in the industry, “fell into the field”. In 2016 after graduation, she started with a boutique property MGA called ICAT. ICAT specializes in homeowners and middle-market catastrophe insurance. Camille worked there for 4.5 years as a Wind Underwriter and a Relationship Manager specializing in risks located in South Florida and Houston.
In September of 2020 Camille moved from Denver, CO to Atlanta, GA to work at Chubb in the Major Accounts Property division as a Senior Underwriter. After 2.5 years in that role, Camille has now been promoted to Executive Underwriter in the same division. In addition to underwriting, she is a Regional Connector for the Black Alliance with Chubb.
Outside of the office, Camille loves to travel and spend time outdoors. She also enjoys baking, crocheting, and reading historical fiction novels.

Angela Patman is a Senior Client Services Manager with Gallagher Bassett Services. Her main responsibilities is working with large national accounts to provide a high level of customer service and stewardship within their risk management programs. Angela is graduate of Georgia State University.
She has served in various insurance roles including Atlanta Claims Association, and has been a member of the GA State Board of Workers’ Compensation Steering Committee for the past fifteen (15) years.

Joy Mvogo, CPCU is an Underwriting Consultant for Nationwide. In her career she has consistently delivered superior loss results, sometimes in historically underperforming products, by working with key stakeholders on win-win solutions. In her role as Public Relations Officer, she increased digital engagement by 700% in the first year and conducted several successful media campaigns to drive increased member, meeting and symposium attendance year over year. She studied Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Georgia Southwestern State University. She also holds six industry designations through The Institutes and in the spirit of Kaizen (continuous improvement) is working toward a Green Belt in Lean.
Joy has facilitated social media trainings for non-profit clients and board members, sat on panels discussing personal branding, maintaining visibility in corporate spaces while working remotely and creativity in leadership. She has also presented to Industry Employee Resource Groups about “The Power of a Transcendent Resume”, and personal branding as self-advocacy.
Her passions are Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Neuro-divergence Awareness and Acceptance. To that end she recently received the “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace” and “Inclusive and Ethical Leadership” certificates through University of South Florida. She hopes to use this knowledge as an advocacy andawareness catalyst for underrepresented groups.
