She is responsible for contributing to Munich Re’s global business strategies, with accountability for strategically establishing and executing on distribution plans with key business partners. Helaina is a successful and accomplished industry executive with a proven dedication to advancing the insurance industry, advocating on behalf of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and developing the next generation of leaders.

Dr. Renée Michele Collins

Renée Collins is a distinguished executive in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, with extensive experience in leading both domestic and international Claims and Operations disciplines. Renée excels in optimizing workflows, leveraging technology, and utilizing data analytics to maximize ROI on client transactions and interactions. With a proven track record in business administration, she consistently achieves high efficiency levels and exceeds key performance indicators.

She is passionate about community advancement and volunteers to support victims of domestic violence and homelessness. As the Chair for Travelers Black and African American & Allies Diversity Network, Renée champions diversity and inclusion in the workplace, striving to unite, enlighten, and develop Black employees in an inclusive environment.

Renée holds a BA in Insurance & Risk Management and an MBA from Indiana State University.

Erikka McGee is a servant leader and people person with a high-performing mindset with extensive and successful experience in collaborating and leading high-performance teams. She has worked in the group insurance and healthcare industry for over 26 years and has held several leadership positions and currently is the Director of Commercial Dental Sales Enablement, Execution, & Effectiveness at Sun Life. Erikka’s experience is in leadership, operational & relationship management, project management and career development within the group insurance industry. Erikka resides in Gwinnett County and graduated from Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Management, Learning & Organizational Effectiveness from Troy University.

Darious is a dedicated and results-driven leader with a strong track record in both the insurance industry and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. With a wealth of experience in guiding teams and driving operational excellence, Darious has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate complex insurance landscapes while championing DEI efforts that create lasting, positive change.

 

In his current role as a Middle Market Operations Director at Travelers Insurance, Darious supports Underwriting teams across the Southern and Central regions, as well as Excess Casualty on a national scale. He is also a co-lead for the Diversity Network Pillar in his Alpharetta office, where he’s committed to fostering an inclusive work environment. Previously, he served as the Black and African American & Allies Diversity Network Co-Lead for Communication, where his impact was felt until his term ended in March 2024.

 

Darious's career began in his hometown of Buffalo, NY, where he started as an auto dispatcher. He quickly moved to Atlanta, where he spent three years as a Workers Compensation adjuster before transitioning to Operations Management in Small Commercial Operations. His foundation in the insurance industry is complemented by his eight years of experience in Human Services, working with intellectually disabled individuals, which has deeply informed his approach to leadership and DEI.

 

Currently residing in Ellenwood, GA, Darious has a passion for traveling, music, and cooking, which he balances with his commitment to making a meaningful impact on both people and business.

Summer Rose is a Workers’ Compensation Claims Leader with over a decade of experience delivering strong operational results across national carriers. Her expertise spans in claims management, litigation oversight, and multi-jurisdictional compliance, supported by a foundation in insurance production. She began her career on the front end of the business as a producer, where she developed a deep understanding of risk selection, customer needs, retention, and profitability. That perspective continues to shape how she aligns claims strategy with broader organizational goals.

Summer is known for her people first leadership style and her commitment to developing others. She drives performance through hands on coaching, quality oversight, and thoughtful, data informed decisions. She has been recognized for excellence in claims outcomes and innovation, consistently strengthening both team capability and operational consistency. Outside of her professional role, Summer is actively engaged in volunteer service and prioritizes health and fitness, reflecting her belief in a holistic approach to life that centers both mind and body.

Summer is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional and Certified Fraud Insurance Representative. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Alabama A&M University, which continues to shape and inspire her leadership style and her commitment to lifelong learning.

Karen Rice is a dedicated and results-driven insurance underwriter with more than 35 years’ experience evaluating, pricing, and managing risk across a wide range of insurance products, including Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile lines. Her expertise lies in assessing complex risks, making data-driven decisions, and collaborating with clients, brokers, and agents to develop customized solutions that ensure both coverage and profitability. She has a passion for our industry that can be seen as she actively encourages people to explore insurance as a career, and also by helping to launch DEI initiatives at PMA, where she served as one of the original committee members. From a personal perspective, her favorite things are family, friends, and laughter!

Bre Rawls is an accomplished insurance leader with over 14 years of experience spanning cyber risk, professional liability underwriting, product strategy, and distribution oversight. Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, she brings an enterprise-level perspective shaped by building, scaling, and stewarding complex insurance portfolios across multiple business models.


Bre currently serves as Cyber Product Leader at Futuristic Underwriters, an MGA, where she leads the firm’s cyber insurance product for the small and middle-market P&C segment. In this role, she is responsible for defining underwriting philosophy and culture, influencing product and capability prioritization, and executing a strategy that drives profitable, scalable growth. Her work consistently aligns innovation with underwriting fundamentals ensuring growth that is both bold and sustainable while strengthening broker and agent partnerships across the industry.


Throughout her career, Bre has progressed through multiple underwriting ranks, developing a well-rounded and disciplined approach to risk. Her professional experience spans traditional carriers, Insurtech, and the MGA and brokerage ecosystem, with roles at Hiscox, Cowbell, The Hanover, and Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA). Exposure to wholesale/retail brokerage and direct distribution channels has given her a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, partner incentives, and long-term portfolio health.


Grounded in this breadth of experience, Bre is also deeply committed to shaping the future of insurance leadership. As an industry trailblazer and Black woman in leadership, she focuses on advancing the industry through mastery of her craft while intentionally forging her own path rooted in authenticity, excellence, and strategic purpose. As industry trailblazer, Bre has spoken on multiple underwriting panels and is a respected voice on cyber risk, underwriting discipline, and leadership development. She is a strong advocate for inclusive leadership, sponsorship, and the development of future industry leaders, and actively supports social, LGBTQ+, and minority initiatives. Through her involvement in multiple professional associations, Bre plays a meaningful role in advancing representation, innovation, and long-term excellence.

La’Vonda McLean is a senior client advisor in Marsh’s FINPRO Practice, our financial and professional insurance group, specializing in global risk advisory services for large multinational companies in the areas of directors & officers (D&O) insurance, Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Wage & Hour (W&H) insurance, fiduciary liability, and crime insurance.
In addition to her advisory role, La’Vonda is also the EPL/W&H Product Leader for the US, focusing on thought leadership, coverage analysis, and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and legal fields, La’Vonda has held leadership roles at a major global broker and worked at a national law firm specializing in labor and employment law. La’Vonda frequently presents at industry seminars on various insurance topics and is based in Atlanta, GA.

Erica Jones is a Commercial Manager with CNA. She holds both her P&C and Life/Health Agent's Licenses and has designations as a Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC) & Certified Risk Manager (CRM). She is a proud Georgia State University Alum with a Bachelor of Science Degree Major in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. Erica held past positions as VP and Scholarship Chair of the Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP).
