Rebekah Ratliff is a native of Chicago, Illinois. A University of Illinois graduate, she is degreed in the discipline of Psychology. Mrs. Ratliff is a credentialed 20+ year commercial complex claims professional with expertise in a variety of subject matter areas. Rebekah is registered with the State of Georgia as a Civil and Domestic Mediator and Arbitrator. She offers mediation, arbitration and case evaluation services through the Judicial Mediation Arbitration Service (JAMS). Rebekah is a nationally sought after presenter, panel speaker and lecturer in the legal and insurance industries. She is the recipient of various prestigious awards to include the President's Volunteer Service Award (Obama Administration), Insurance Business America's HOT 100 List 2020 and a 7th U.S. District (IL) Congressional Award for her work in dispute resolution. Rebekah enjoys travel, fine dining and serves her community through her work with her Sorority and AAIP. She is the visionary founder of HBCU I.M.P.A.C.T. Initiative, Inc. a non-profit designed to attract, educate and employ diverse talent in the insurance and legal industries. Rebekah lives with her family in the Atlanta, GA area and operates internationally.
Brigitte Spencer, CPCU, AINS, AIS, a native of Ohio, is a Director of Personal Lines with The Hanover Insurance Group. She has developed a depth of knowledge in Personal Lines Underwriting, Sales, and Contact Center Operations. Having driven profitable underwriting results, coordinated department startups and reorganizations, built quality and training programs, developed talent and supported process and product improvements, she is known for her ability to drive engagement and results through collaboration, bring diverse perspectives to the table and inspire others to achieve their best selves. Chevon Andre Brooks, Esq., is the founder and managing member of Brooks, Berne & Herndon, PLLC. The firm has multiple offices in New York and New Jersey with its primary focus on insurance defense. Chevon concentrates his practice on the defense of property and casualty matters in both federal and state court. Practicing law for fourteen years, Chevon provides extensive appellate experience and valuable insight in handling client matters from inception through trial and appeal. He currently handles insurance coverage, bad faith, excess/umbrella coverage, New York Labor Law, complex construction, municipal liability, products liability, asbestos exposure, motor vehicle, workers’ compensation defense and general negligence cases.

She currently serves as 2VP, Field Operations for Business Insurance with Travelers. She is tasked with defining and leading strategic operations priorities within Small Commercial Operations with focus on Select and Specialty Practices across the U.S. and Canada. Bachelor of Science – Computer Information Systems, and Bachelor of Science – Business Operations, DeVry Institute of Technology. Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering from Central Michigan. She is a certified Project manager, and a member of the PMI International, AAIP, AHOU, Georgia Association of Home office underwriters (VP), and NAAIA.
Joy Mvogo, CPCU is a Senior Underwriter for Philadelphia Insurance Companies. She has 20 years of experience in Underwriting and Claims roles. She recently transitioned from a regional role to a national Home Office role, with a concentration in one of the toughest jurisdictions in the country (Florida). She studied Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Georgia Southwestern State University. She also holds five industry designations CPCU, ARM, AU, AIS, AINS and has completed the program in Supervisory Management through The Institutes. Her passions outside of the Insurance Industry are Diversity and Inclusion and Autism Awareness.
Joi Blume is a skilled commercial insurance professional who has worked in the insurance industry for over 10 years and has a superior understanding of the Excess and Surplus lines marketplace. Joi is currently AVP-Underwriter at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions f/k/a OneBeacon Insurance Group where she participates on large comprehensive specialty property placements. She holds a B.A. in Communications and an MBA; and is a licensed Property and Casualty agent for the State of Georgia. Joi has been recognized by Insurance Business America as an insurance “Young Gun” and was recently named in The Alabama State University 2020 Class of 50 Under 50. She is passionate about D,E&I and women succeeding in male-dominated industries. Blume joined the Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP) in 2019 and previously served as Co-Chair of Program Development.
