Rebekah Ratliff

Rebekah Ratliff is a native of Chicago, Illinois. A University of Illinois graduate, she is degreed in the discipline of Psychology. Mrs. Ratliff is a credentialed 20+ year Insurance professional with expertise in complex casualty claims loss matters for major commercial carriers, with expertise in various lines of business. Rebekah is the President of Capital City Mediations, LLC. She is registered with the State of Georgia as a Civil and Domestic Mediator and Arbitrator. She offers Alternative Dispute Resolution and Case Evaluation consultation services. Rebekah is a highly sought after Presenter and Panel Speaker for organizations such as AAIP, CLM, the National Association of Professional Women and the National Bar Association. She is a recipient of the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award and she has been recognized as a Community Service Champion by the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). Rebekah enjoys travel, fine dining and serves her community through her work with Operation Hope and her Sorority. She lives with her family in the Atlanta, GA area and operates internationally.

Dominique LaFrance
Vice President

Dominique LaFrance, a native of Los Angeles, California has over five years of experience in commercial underwriting. As an Account Manager at Travelers, she is responsible for managing commercial accounts within the Business Center in Alpharetta, Georgia. Prior to Travelers, she was a licensed sales agent and financial analyst/underwriter at Charles Dunn Company, a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Southern California. She was responsible for underwriting and managing the transactions of multi-million dollar multifamily, office, retail, land, and mixed-used commercial properties located in Southern California. She earned a B.A. in Psychology with a Business Administration minor from the University of Southern California. She is an active member of AAIP and Co-Chair of AAIP’s young professional initiative. 

Steve Compton

In 2005, he founded Compton Global Enterprises, Inc. dba Steve Compton Agencies and opened an  Allstate Insurance agency. The book of business was sold in 2010. Later that year, Compton Global Enterprises went into contract with Horace Mann Insurance as a Financial Services agency. After missing the "hustle and bustle" of running a large P&C agency, Steve decided to sell the book of business and get back in the game. The company recently went into agreement with Nationwide Insurance as an Exclusive Agency. In less than three years, the Agency completed it's first Independent Agency Acquisition, merger, ranked in the top 1% in Auto Sales and Life Sales with Nationwide Insurance, and has written over 2,700 policies with Nationwide Insurance. 

Brigitte Spencer, CPCU

Brigitte Spencer, CPCU, AINS, AIS, a native of Ohio, is a Director of Personal Lines with The Hanover Insurance Group.  She has developed a depth of knowledge in Personal Lines Underwriting, Sales, and Contact Center Operations.  Having driven profitable underwriting results, coordinated department startups and reorganizations, built quality and training programs, developed talent and supported process and product improvements, she is known for her ability to drive engagement and results through collaboration, bring diverse perspectives to the table and inspire others to achieve their best selves.  Brigitte joined AAIP/NAAIA in 2018  and plans to further our growth by positively influencing professionals on the benefits of a career in the insurance industry and corporations on the importance diversity and inclusion plays in their future success and profitability.

Aisha Danzy
Business Manager       

As a child of Jamaican immigrants,  Aisha Danzy is a well-known and respected entrepreneur, philanthropist, and motivational speaker.  Crowned as Atlanta's Insurance Lady, she currently serves as President and CEO of Five Star Insurance Agency, Atlanta's fastest growing minority-owned independent agency.  Aisha is the founder of the Reach for the Stars Mentorship program, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the success of young parents.  Aisha received a BBA in Business Administration from Florida Atlanta University. Aisha has served as a territory manager for one of the nation's largest MGAs, licensed property claims adjuster, and is currently a Georgia surplus line broker. Nominated by the Atlanta Business League for outstanding achievements, Mrs. Danzy has been featured in national newsletters for her innovative ideas and continuous success. In her free time, Aisha enjoys international travel, volunteer work, photography, and spending time with her family.

Trudie Bolles

Trudie Bolles is an Account Manager with Travelers. With over 35 years of experience in the Personal Lines marketplace with several national carriers in Property & Casualty Underwriting, Trudie transitioned to Commercial Underwriting in 2016. She is focused on elevating  Innovation, Synergy and Efficiency in the commercial lines middle market at Travelers in their new CAG Business Centers. She also worked briefly as an Insurance Investigator with the GA DOI. Trudie is a graduate of Duke University with a BA in Psychology. She holds CIC, API, INS and AIS designations. She has been a member of AAIP since 2009 and member of the National Association of Professional Women. Trudie is married and has one daughter along with many professional offspring through mentoring, coaching and career and personal counseling.

Michael Burt
Member At Large

After a successful corporate career of ten years, Mr. Michael Burt grew the family owned janitorial and disaster restoration business known as Burt Enterprise Global Inc. and its assets to Fortune 100 status.  His clients include: Kraft foods, Nike, H.J. Russell, State Farm, All State, Hartsfield international airport and 1996 Summer Olympics. Michael has received his B.S in Industrial technical business and computer science with heavy inferences on chemical and engineering from university of Alabama In 2012, he also received his MBA in international business. Mr. Burt holds numerous professional licenses as well being a licensed large lost catastrophe claims adjuster with over 12 years of experience of various capacities in the insurance industry. As a philanthropist Michael establishes systems that provide employment, housing and educational opportunities for youth and families seeking to improve their quality of life.

Joy Mvogo, CPCU
Public Relations Officer

Joy Mvogo, CPCU is a Senior Underwriter for Philadelphia Insurance Companies. She has 20 years of experience in Underwriting and Claims roles. She recently transitioned from a regional role to a national Home Office role, with a concentration in one of the toughest jurisdictions in the country (Florida). She studied Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting at Georgia Southwestern State University. She also holds five industry designations CPCU, ARM, AU, AIS, AINS and has completed the program in Supervisory Management through The Institutes. Her passions outside of the Insurance Industry are Diversity and Inclusion and Autism Awareness.

Nicole Anderson

Nicole A. Anderson was born in upstate New York and has resided in Metro Atlanta for 20+ years. She possesses more than 20 years of insurance experience, having worked at a number of major insurance companies. Ms. Anderson strongly believes that ‘knowledge is power’. Her lifelong passion is to ensure that people understand the implications of their health, life and legal benefits.  Ms. Anderson is currently the VP of Operations at SAMM Consulting and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She holds her PC & Life Licenses and is a Legal Shield Small Business and Group Benefits Specialist.
