She is passionate about community advancement and volunteers to support victims of domestic violence and homelessness. As the Chair for Travelers Black and African American & Allies Diversity Network, Renée champions diversity and inclusion in the workplace, striving to unite, enlighten, and develop Black employees in an inclusive environment.

Erikka’s experience is in leadership, operational & relationship management, project management and career development within the group insurance industry. Erikka resides in Gwinnett County and graduated from Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and is pursuing her Master of Science degree in Management, Learning & Organizational Effectiveness from Troy University.

Her expertise lies in assessing complex risks, making data-driven decisions, and collaborating with clients, brokers, and agents to develop customized solutions that ensure both coverage and profitability. She has a passion for our industry that can be seen as she actively encourages people to explore insurance as a career, and also by helping to launch DEI initiatives at PMA, where she served as one of the original committee members. From a personal perspective, her favorite things are family, friends, and laughter!

Pete Kidd is a well-versed insurance executive with extensive experience in both Insurtech and traditional insurance sectors. Currently, Pete serves as the Head of Insurance Solutions at Foxen, a leading Insurtech company based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in insurance compliance monitoring, risk management solutions, and services for the multifamily housing industry. Pete joined Foxen in 2024, where he oversees all aspects of the company’s insurance solutions, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives in identifying, building, launching, and managing insurance products and captive services.


Before joining Foxen, Pete served as Vice President of Insurance Operations for Global Markets at Leap Insurance, an Insurtech MGA. In this role, he spearheaded a global transformation strategy, driving the adoption of advanced technology solutions and lean workflows to improve operational efficiency. Pete’s leadership in claims management, product development, underwriting, and compliance led to enhanced scalability for both Commercial and Excess & Surplus (E&S) programs in the US and UK markets. He was responsible for managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) for insurance operations, driving cost reductions, and improving financial performance. Additionally, Pete played a vital role in launching innovative insurance products and expanding market reach, achieving significant growth through strategic API integrations and embedded insurance distribution channels.


Pete’s previous experience includes serving as Director of Commercial Lines at Hartford Steam  oiler, and in various claims leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies such as Farmers Insurance Group and State Farm Insurance, where he oversaw extensive catastrophe responses and claims investigations.


In recognition of his significant contributions to the insurance industry, Pete has received several prestigious awards, including the NAAIA Emerging Leader Award in 2023, the Rise 35 under 35 Award in 2022, and the Insurance Business of America Rising Star Award in 2022. He was also named Supervisor of the Year by Farmers Insurance in 2017.


Pete serves on the NAAIA Emerging Leader Council, is a member of the National Black MBA Association, CPCU Society Atlanta Chapter, and volunteers at Fulton & Clayton County Parks and Recreation centers. Pete is originally from Harlem, NY, and holds a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Chestnut Hill College and his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2014.

In addition to her advisory role, La’Vonda is also the EPL/W&H Product Leader for the US, focusing on thought leadership, coverage analysis, and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and legal fields, La’Vonda has held leadership roles at a major global broker and worked at a national law firm specializing in labor and employment law. La’Vonda frequently presents at industry seminars on various insurance topics and is based in Atlanta, GA.
